Meet the Author Series

Spring 2015

March 11: Geoffrey Dunn will be discussing and signing his three books that came out last year: Santa Cruz Is in the Heart: Volume II; Sports of Santa Cruz County; and Vintage Bargetto: Celebrating a Century of California Winemaking (with John Bargetto). Geoffrey graduated from Soquel Elementary School in 1967 and from Soquel High School in 1973 and was captain of the Soquel High varsity baseball team.

Porter Memorial Library is operated by volunteers and provides services to communities in the Soquel California area. The library, located at 3050 Porter Avenue, phone (831) 475-3326, is open to the public each week day from noon until 4 PM and on Saturday from 10 AM until 2 PM.

In addition to having a good collection of books and providing a pleasant place to read or study, a series of talks by local authors is featured each Spring. Check our EVENTS section for details about lecture series. Keep checking here for information about our 2014 series.
