Spring 2018 Meet The Author Series Begins

Wednesday, January 10, 10:30 am The first talk is by BERTRAM IZANT, who will discuss his Writing, Memories: Glimpses Of Santa Cruz And Soquel From Three Pioneer Families. Bert's father founded the hardware store in Soquel in 1941. Bert and his brother Dave will share readings that he believes will be relevant to anyone interested in Santa Cruz and Soquel history.


During this informal coffee hour, Bert will discuss his work and answer questions from the audience. The talks are free of charge and open to the public. Coffee will be provided by The Ugly Mug. For further information call 475-3326


Porter Memorial Library is operated by volunteers and provides services to communities in the Soquel California area. The library, located at 3050 Porter Avenue, phone (831) 475-3326, is open to the public each week day from noon until 4 PM and on Saturday from 10 AM until 2 PM.
