Spring 2015

January 14: Our series begins with Terri Morgan - Terri's first novel, Playing the Genetic Lottery, recently re-released as The Genetic Lottery; A Novel Look at Schizophrenia, explores the impact that devastating mental illness has on families. Terri is widely published on diverse topics including sports biographies and photography and is a reporter at the Santa Cruz Sentinel.

Porter Memorial Library is operated by volunteers and provides services to communities in the Soquel California area. The library, located at 3050 Porter Avenue, phone (831) 475-3326, is open to the public each week day from noon until 4 PM and on Saturday from 10 AM until 2 PM.

In addition to having a good collection of books and providing a pleasant place to read or study, a series of talks by local authors is featured each Spring. Check our EVENTS section for details about lecture series. Keep checking here for information about our 2014 series.
